Award-winning innovative power: The company Crowdfox GmbH from Cologne is one of the most innovative companies in Germany and has been awarded the TOP 100 award 2021. This is the 28th time that outstandingly innovative companies have been honored with this award after proving their innovative strength in a scientific selection process.
On behalf of compamedia GmbH, which organizes the TOP 100 innovation competition every year, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolas Franke and his team examined Crowdfox innovative strength. The study examined 120 criteria from five categories: Top management that promotes innovation, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success.
The aim of the challenge is to determine whether innovations are the result of active, planned action or a product of chance – in other words, the reproducibility of innovation performance. It also examines whether and to what extent the corresponding solutions are successful on the market (further information on the test criteria can be found at www.top100.de/pruefkriterien). In view of the current situation, this year’s competition included an additional section in which the company’s response to the corona pandemic was evaluated.
Crowdfox is one of the technology leaders for purchasing optimization. The digital solution package enables more transparency, process reliability and efficiency and ensures market-driven prices in the area of C-goods procurement. With the help of the developed technology, users can search the catalogs of their inventory suppliers and simultaneously the catalogs of alternative suppliers and marketplaces in a matter of seconds and compare various criteria.Managing Director Dirk Schäfer is convinced of the enormous innovative power of his company: “The Crowdfox team has created a sensational solution that enables an unprecedented level of transparency, process efficiency and comparability. This is something that traditional purchasing consulting has not been able to achieve in the last 20 years, and that motivates me every day.”
The final highlight of the competition is the 7th Deutsche Mittelstands-Summit, which will take place on November 26 in Ludwigsburg. Award winners from the current TOP 100 year, including Crowdfox, will meet there to receive personal congratulations from science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. He has been mentoring the innovation competition for ten years.
