The Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger reports on Crowdfox, how the start-up is making procurement more efficient with AI.
Thorsten Breitkopf, editor of the Kölner Stadtanzeiger, visited and got to know the 50-strong team behind Crowdfox at the office in Mediapark over the past few weeks. Read the article to find out who is behind Crowdfox and how the use of AI in indirect purchasing can further reduce costs in companies and shorten processes.
With Crowdfox, C-parts are always comparable in terms of quality and availability, and the database now contains over 50 million items. With its solution of the same name, the start-up has found a way to optimize the C-material share, which accounts for up to a fifth of the total purchasing volume – companies such as BASF, E.ON or DHL, which already rely on Crowdfox, reduce their indirect purchasing costs by up to 12 percent.
With the new AI chatbot, Crowdfox is also counteracting the difficult and often inconsistent purchasing processes in companies by enabling one-off orders to be processed in just a few minutes, which previously took many times longer.
